The continuous review of library materials is necessary as a means of maintaining an active library collection of current interest to users. Evaluations should be made to determine if the collection is meeting its objectives and the needs of its users. Librarians will evaluate portions of the collection regularly using a combination of standard qualitative and quantitative methods.
