The Virginia State University Library supports the research and teaching needs of the University community with its full complement of resources and services, including a 24-hour computer lab, private and group study rooms, and library training center. The Library is open 86 hours per week with extended service hours during mid-term and final exams. The virtual library is available at http://library.vsu.edu.
The University Libraries remain open virtually and online services and resources are available to support research, teaching and learning for students, faculty and staff. The Circulation Department will provide users with contact-free check-out of books, wherein students, faculty, and staff can place requests for contactless pick-up of books and DVDs.
The individual study rooms, group study rooms, training center, conference rooms, basement computer lab and library stacks will remain closed to users. Public computers will be available on the first and second floors of the library by reservation only. The Special Collections & Archives at Lindsay-Montague Hall will remain closed. Reference and research assistance will be available via the online service tools.
