This guide is to assist the VSU community through the creation of your New York Times account.

Creating an Account

Create your New York Times Access Pass account to access the New York Times starting with the first issue in 1851 through the latest news of today.

  1. Go here to access the New York Times login page.
  2. To register for a NYTimes.com account you must use your VSU e-mail (students@vsu.edu or vsu.edu) and create a password you will remember. 
  3. Please check your university e-mail for an activation link to confirm your  NYTimes.com pass and complete the registration process.
  4. Your academic pass is valid for one year after which you will need to renew your account.
