How to Create an Interlibrary Loan Account

1. Go to library.vsu.edu
2. Under SERVICES, click INTERLIBRARY LOAN
3. On the next screen, if you have an account, you can login. If you do NOT have an account, click on the FIRST TIME USERS link.
4. Read the information about copyright and passwords. Click on FIRST TIME USERS CLICK HERE to continue.
5. Fill in the form.

Searching the Database Tab on the Library's Website

1. Go to library.vsu.edu
2. Under the picture, there are three tabs. The DATABASES tab is in orange (it is the active one).
3. In the search box, type in the topic you are searching for.
4. Click the SEARCH button.
5. You will receive a result list.

Searching an Individual Database

1. Go to library.vsu.edu
2. Click on the A-Z List tab under the picture.
3. This will bring up the alphabet. Each database we subscribe to is in alphabetical order by title.
4. Some databases you can try are: BIOSIS, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, BioOne, Plants Database, or Plants Management.

How to Use the Subject Guides

1. Go to library.vsu.edu
2. Under SERVICES, click on SUBJECT GUIDES
3. Subject guides are those that are created by librarians in relation to VSU courses, or subject areas, that are taught at the University.
