While the physical collections at Johnston Memorial Library are now accessible, the Library will continue to provide the Contact-Free Checkout service.
Request pick-up hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Please follow these instructions to use the Contact-Free Checkout process:
1). Place a request for an item(s) in the Library catalog. See example below.
2). Follow the instructions found on the login page. If you need assistance contact the Information Desk at (804.524.5043).
3). You will receive an email notification when the requested item becomes available.
4). Call the Information Desk at (804.524.5043) when you arrive at the Library. Please wait at least 6 feet from the assigned pick-up area.
5). Once the Library staff member puts the checked-out item(s) on a designated shelf, you can then pick up the checked-out item(s).
